Chesnok Red (Purple Stripe)
Chesnok Red is the most beautiful of the hardnecks and is regarded as the best all-around garlic. It has excellent flavor packed in its 6-10 pinkish skin cloves. It is aromatic and richly flavored as it gives garlicky sweetness to cooked dishes, without overwhelming heat that has a mild after taste. Chesnok Red has a mild creamy taste when roasted and the scapes can also be used for cooking.

Perfect garlic for basic everyday cooking but excellent in the best baking category. It is sweet and tasty when cooked. It has the sweet garlicky flavor without adding heat.
